"Space Jet" flight test aircraft to be exhibited at the Aichi Museum Of Flight in 2026
The aircraft on display is the 10th "Space Jet" / registration JA26MJ, which was cancelled in March 2023 and is also the last aircraft to obtain a registration.
This aircraft made its first flight in March 2020, and in preparation for obtaining type certification, the performance of the cabin air conditioning and the door area was confirmed during the flight test. The total flight time was 48 hours.
In addition to JA26MJ, there are four other aircraft that have registration and flight records, but all of them were dismantled in Moses Lake, USA, where the test flights were conducted.
Other Space Jet test aircraft include the "JA25MJ", which is painted with All Nippon Airways (ANA) colors and was used for ground tests, etc.
